I’ve been staring at my 2019 Durango for the past few weeks and every time I walk up to it in the parking lot I notice something new that bothers me, whether it’s a fresh scratch on the rear bumper from who knows what, or the way the roof paint is starting to look a bit hazy compared to the rest of the car, or just the general lack of shine that makes it look more like a work truck than a family SUV. I’ve finally decided I need to stop procrastinating and just get it detailed properly but now I’m stuck in analysis paralysis trying to figure out which package is actually worth the money because every shop seems to have their own tiers and pricing structures that make it really hard to compare apples to apples. Some places offer basic exterior washes, others have intermediate paint enhancement, and then there’s the full monty with paint correction and ceramic coating that costs significantly more but promises to keep the car looking good for years. I’ve been doing a ton of reading and came across https://exoticcarcare.ae/dodge-detailing-abu-dhabi/ which seems to have a pretty comprehensive breakdown of what each service includes, but I’m still unsure if I really need the full correction or if a good polish and sealant would be enough given that my paint isn’t completely trashed, just kinda tired looking. The thing is I don’t want to cheap out and end up regretting it in six months when the paint goes dull again, but I also don’t want to drop a huge chunk of change on services I don’t actually need. I’m hoping to hear from other Durango or similar SUV owners who’ve gone through this decision process and can tell me what they chose and whether they felt it was worth it in the long run. Also how do you even tell if a shop is actually doing good work versus just talking a big game? I’ve been burned before by places that promise the world and deliver mediocrity and I really don’t want that to happen again with something this important to me.
